Well, the creative mind(s) at Dell is/are at it again. Having had almost two years to work on it, today they announced their new iPod killer: The Dell Digital Jukebox.
And the only thing worse than the dull, unimaginative name is the dull, unimaginative device itself.

Dude, you’re getting a Dull.
When I saw the announcement I knew you’d have something to say
I wouldn’t refuse one if offered.. but I’d definately sell it
Come on. Dell is the Walmart of computers. They’re not in the business to be innovative on the products they deliver. All their innovative thinking goes into their business model. While you might find some pretty high quality products from Walmart, it’s their low prices everyday that keep us coming back.
Dell’s just in time inventory and supply chain is where their innovation lies. I think it’s a wise business move to let others be the ones to spend their R&D on innovation and see if it pans out for them. Then they can look at the consumer’s complaints and needs and develop a better, cheaper product. People love Walmart and Dell for what they have to offer…low prices
